Turn on the Repricer
The Repricer keeps your Amazon prices competitive for the Buy Box without you watching every listing. You write a rule once, put your SKUs on it, and STK updates your prices within the limits you set. This page takes you from a new account to live repricing.
What you need first
You need a Repricer subscription, which you add on the In-App Purchases page. See pricing for what it costs. You can try out rule settings before you subscribe. They have no effect on your account until the Repricer is switched on.
You also need your costs in STK. Profit, ROI and margin minimums are only as good as the costs behind them, so add your cost of goods before you rely on them.
Step by step
- Open Rules. New accounts start with a rule called My Default rule. Treat it as a starting point, and read it before you use it.
- Get the matching right. The best settings depend on how each SKU is fulfilled. If you sell both FBA and FBM, you need at least two rules. See offer types and matching settings.
- Set your minimum. This is the lowest you're willing to go, so set it before anything goes live. See set a minimum ROI or margin.
- Assign your SKUs. Pick a rule for one SKU in All Markets, or move many at once. See bulk edit your repricer settings.
- Check the Repricing switch. Each SKU has its own on/off switch on each marketplace. On Repricer Filters, the Not Repricing filter shows you any that are off.
- Turn on the master switch. Open Repricer Dashboard in the menu and set the switch at the top of the page to Repricer ON. STK asks you to confirm first.
What to expect
- STK only changes the price of SKUs that have Repricing on and a rule assigned.
- Your minimum and maximum settings are the limits on every price.
- You can set Repricer OFF at any time. It pauses all repricing on every rule and every SKU, so it works as an emergency stop.
- If you start with a few SKUs, you can check the results before you move the rest.
Check how it's going on the Repricer Dashboard. If a price doesn't move the way you expected, work through why your price did not change.
