Create a repricer rule
A repricer rule says how one group of SKUs should be priced. You set it up once and put as many SKUs on it as you like. Each SKU uses the rule assigned to it on that marketplace.
Add a rule
- Open Rules and click Add Rule.
- Give it a clear name. It needs at least 3 characters. Names like “FBA normal” or “FBM clearance” make rules easy to pick later.
- Work through the tabs. The summary beside the tabs shows what the rule will do in plain words as you change things.
- Click Save. A saved rule does nothing until SKUs are assigned to it.
What each tab is for
- Details: the rule name, the Default Rule switch and the Active switch.
- Override Default Settings: lets a rule act as the default for a fulfilment type, condition or category.
- Match Offer: how your price relates to each offer type, plus the Amazon Buy Box and FBA / SFP Self-Match settings. See offer types and matching settings.
- Minimums: your lowest price. See minimums.
- Maximums: your highest price. See maximums.
- Automations: move SKUs to another rule when things change. See repricer automations.
- Exclude Sellers: offers this rule should ignore (see below).
- Suppressed BuyBox: what to do when Amazon isn't showing a Buy Box. See hold the Buy Box.
- Snooze: change your price during time windows you choose. See snooze repricing.
- Bulk Change: appears once a rule is saved, and changes the SKUs on it.
Exclude sellers
Use the Exclude Sellers tab if there are offers you don't want a rule to price against. The Exclude Amazon switches cover Amazon's own offers. For anyone else, switch on Exclude Sellers and list their seller IDs, separated by a space, a comma or a new line.
Choose how a rule matches
The Price Match Conditions setting on the Match Offer tab has two options:
- Match lowest offer of selected: use this for your normal selling rules.
- Set to lowest calculated price of selected: the more aggressive option. Use it for clearance rules.
Copy, edit or delete a rule
Each rule card on the Rules page has Edit, Copy and Delete buttons. Copy is the quick way to build a second rule that differs in only a few settings.
- You can't delete a rule while SKUs are using it. Move them to another rule first with Bulk Changes.
- SKUs on an inactive rule don't reprice, so reactivate the rule or move them.
Saving a rule with lots of SKUs
The save finishes at once and the SKU updates run in the background. You can carry on working, and the bell shows a notification when they're done.
Type prices faster
If you enter a lot of prices, switch on Fast price entry on the Other Settings tab in Settings. You can then type 1999 and STK reads it as 19.99. If you type the decimal point yourself, it's left as you entered it. It works on price and cost boxes across the app, and it's saved for that browser only.
