Offer types and matching settings
Every STK rule has separate matching settings for three offer types. This page tells you which settings to start with.
The three offer types
- Prime Same-Day Ship: the fastest Prime offers.
- Prime Standard Ship: Prime offers with slower delivery.
- Non Prime - Seller Fulfilled: usually offers you or other sellers ship themselves.
For each type, you choose Do Not Match, Match Price, or a price above or below by a fixed amount or percent.
Which settings to start with
The right template depends on how you fulfil that SKU on that marketplace, not on your preference.
Your offer is FBA
- Prime Same-Day Ship: Match Price.
- Prime Standard Ship: price above.
- Non Prime - Seller Fulfilled: price above.
Start with Match Price on the first line and price above on the slower lines, then adjust.
Your offer is FBM
- Prime Same-Day Ship: price below.
- Prime Standard Ship: Match Price.
- Non Prime - Seller Fulfilled: Match Price.
If you ship FBM, also read FBM repricing and postage.
Sell both FBA and FBM? Use two rules
One rule can't do both, because the two templates are opposites on the Prime Same-Day Ship line. Set up one rule for each, and assign each SKU to the one that matches how it's fulfilled. If a SKU changes fulfilment, move it to the other rule at the same time.
Match every offer type
Don't set Prime Same-Day Ship and leave the others on Do Not Match. If one of those offers then holds the Buy Box, you aren't pricing against it. Use Do Not Match only for a specific reason, usually on a small rule you watch yourself. STK reminds you on the Rules page if your rules don't match all offer types.
Percentages or fixed amounts?
Use percentages on your normal rules. They scale with price, so one rule works across cheap and expensive items. Keep fixed amounts for small rules where you know the price range.
My FBA offer shows as Prime Standard Ship
Don't lower your price. Keep the SKU on your FBA rule.
FBA and SFP on the same product
If you sell the same product through both FBA and Seller Fulfilled Prime, look at the FBA / SFP Self-Match section on the Match Offer tab. With it on, the offer is allowed to match your own offer on the other fulfilment method. It's on for new rules. Older rules keep the setting they had, so check them if this applies to you.
