Use FBA Reconciliation

FBA Reconciliation helps you keep on top of your Amazon FBA stock. Use it to check units at Amazon, deal with reimbursements and follow up problems with inbound shipments.

The FBA Reconciliation pages aren't available during your free trial. If you open one, STK shows a message telling you so. They open when your subscription starts.

The two pages

  • Inventory: one card per SKU, covering the stock at Amazon and any reimbursements. Start here.
  • Shipments: one card per inbound shipment, showing what you shipped and what Amazon received. See raise a shipment case.

Both pages use the words Missing and Excess, but they mean different things. On Inventory they're about the stock at Amazon. On Shipments they're about one delivery.

Inventory filters

Open FBA Reconciliation in the side menu and pick a filter under Inventory. The filters do two separate jobs.

Stock

  • All: every SKU.
  • Missing: SKUs that may have units missing at Amazon.
  • Excess: SKUs that may have more units at Amazon than expected.

Treat Missing and Excess as a prompt to look, not as proof that something has gone wrong. Open the SKU's Reconcile Dashboard and check it before you contact Amazon.

Reimbursement

Overdue, Pending and Pastdue show where each reimbursement stands. See overdue reimbursements for what to do with each one.

Buttons on the Inventory page

  • Raise Overdue Cases: starts a run with the SellerToolKit browser extension. See raise reimbursement cases.
  • Claims that need you: claims only you can finish. See claims that need you.
  • Not eligible for reimbursement: claims Amazon has turned down, with its reason. There's nothing for you to do.

A simple weekly routine

  1. Raise your overdue cases. Open the Inventory page and click Raise Overdue Cases.
  2. Clear anything waiting on you. Click Claims that need you and work through the list.
  3. Look at Missing. Check any SKU that matters to you on its Reconcile Dashboard.
  4. Check your shipments. On the Shipments page, choose Missing & Excess Items.

Team users

A team user needs the Reconciliation view tick to see these pages, and the edit tick to raise cases. You set both on the Users page. See add team users.
