Alerts and messages

STK has two inboxes. Alerts tell you about your own account, and messages are announcements from us. This page shows you how to find both, and how to keep the bell free of anything you don't need.

Alerts or messages?

  • Alerts (the bell icon): raised automatically about your account. Look here for “did my data finish loading?” or “what was that alert?”.
  • Messages (the mail icon): product updates and notices from the SellerToolKit team. Look here for “what was that update you announced?”.

What you'll get alerts about

  • data loads and reports
  • Cost of Goods and Repricer file uploads
  • Amazon fees
  • reconciliation issues and overdue reimbursements
  • products selling with no cost of goods
  • your listings
  • orders and shipments
  • new negative feedback

What the colours mean

  • Red: something needs your attention.
  • Amber: a heads-up worth knowing.
  • Green: information, or all good.

Find an old alert

  1. Open Alert History. It shows your full history, with newer unread alerts highlighted.
  2. Search or set a date range. Search for a SKU or a word from the message, or use the date picker to narrow it to a period.
  3. Click through to act on it. SKU, ASIN, Order and Shipment values are links, and each one takes you to the right page for that alert.

You can show 50, 100, 250 or 500 rows on a page.

Choose what shows on the bell

  1. Open Settings and choose Alerts.
  2. Untick any alert you don't want on the bell. To bring them all back, tick Show all alerts in the bell.
  3. Click Update Alert Settings.

Nothing is lost. A hidden alert is still created and still appears in Alert History. You're only choosing what shows on the bell.

Unfulfillable inventory alerts go a step further. You can hide individual reasons and keep the rest.

Find an old message

Open Message History. Each row shows the date and subject. Click a row to read the full message. Use the search box and date picker to find an older one. Messages stay in your history after you close them, so you can always come back to them.
