Use your sell-through rate

Sell-through rate, or STR, shows how fast a product sells compared with the stock you keep for it. It helps you spot what needs restocking soon and what is sitting too long.

Where to find it

  • 30d, 90d and 180d STR: in Sales Performance on Inventory, Replenish and Top Sellers.
  • 30d STR: on the Order List on your dashboard.

These don't change with the dates you pick on the page.

Read the figure

Higher means stock is selling faster. Lower means it's sitting longer. Hover over a figure for more detail.

Use it to plan stock

  • High STR: check how much stock you have left and consider restocking sooner, so the product doesn't run out.
  • Low STR, especially on older stock: hold off restocking. Think about a price change or a promotion. See find aged inventory.
  • 30d higher than 90d and 180d: sales are speeding up.
  • 30d lower than 90d and 180d: sales are slowing down.

Symbols you may see

  • A dash: there's no figure to show for that period. Hover over the dash for units sold and current stock.
  • ≈ before a figure: the figure is an estimate. Hover over it for more detail.

Why it doesn't match Amazon

Seller Central shows its own sell-through figure, and it's a different measure. The two won't match, and that doesn't mean either one is wrong. Stick to one when you compare products, and use STK's when you compare the 30, 90 and 180 day figures.
