Check a SKU’s cost of goods in and out

Cost of Goods In / Out shows, for one SKU, the units and cost that came in, where they went and what should be left. It's a quick way to check a SKU's costs and stock add up.

Open it

  1. Find the product. Open a list such as Inventory, Orders or Cost of Goods.
  2. Click Cost of Goods In / Out for SKU. It's on the product's Link Menu. A popup opens.

Team users need permission to view Cost of Goods. The figures update on their own, so a recent change can take a little while to show.

Read the popup

Each row is a Movement, with the units and the cost that went with them. You'll see what came in, what went out, what should be left, what Amazon says you have and the difference between the two.

What the Loss lines show

Loss lines show stock you lost and weren't fully paid for. The figures are our best estimate from the data Amazon provides.

  • Disposed
  • Unsellable sent home
  • Liquidated
  • Lost
  • Refunded not returned

If there's a difference

  1. Check your batches. If a batch is missing, add its cost.
  2. Correct any wrong figures. See update your cost of goods.
  3. Check Amazon's side. If your records look right, open the Reconcile Dashboard for the SKU.
