Bring SKUs back with automation walk-back
Walk-back brings a SKU back to an earlier rule once things improve, so it doesn't stay on a clearance rule after you've restocked. This page shows you where to set it and where to look if a SKU hasn't come back.
Where to set it
- Open the rule that holds the automation. Go to the Automations tab.
- Look under the automation. If it has a revert switch, switch it on. The app explains each one.
- Update the rule. If you use a rule chain, do this on each rule.
Where to look if a SKU hasn't moved back
- The revert switch on the rule
- Your stock level or age on the SKU
- SKU Rule History, for each move on the SKU and any manual change
- The rule the SKU is on now
Move it yourself
If you want a SKU back sooner, or a rule in its chain no longer exists, move it with Bulk Changes or in All Markets.
Set up the automations
Walk-back works with your automations, so set those up first. To add one, see move SKUs between rules with automations. A common use is bringing SKUs back from a clearance rule, which is covered in clear stuck stock.
