Check a SKU with SKU Rule History
SKU Rule History answers the question “why is this SKU on this rule?” It lists each time a SKU changed rule, what caused the change and who made it. You can open it for one SKU or look across all of them.
Two ways to open it
- For one SKU: click Repricer Rule History for SKU on the Link Menu. A popup shows that SKU's history, with a block for each marketplace, so you stay on the page you're on.
- For all SKUs: open the SKU Rule History page. You can search and filter by marketplace and date.
Choose a layout
On the full page, choose how the list is laid out:
- Flat: one row for each change.
- Grouped by SKU/Market: a block for each SKU on each marketplace. This is the easiest way to follow one SKU's history, and it also shows walk-back moves.
What each column shows
- Date: when the change happened.
- SKU and Market: what changed, and on which marketplace.
- Event: what caused it (see below).
- From Rule and To Rule: where the SKU came from and where it went.
- Threshold: the number behind an automation move, such as your stock level or ageing days.
- Status: whether the move is still Active, or has since been cleared or reverted. It can also show who set it.
What the events mean
- No Orders Automation, Stock Level Automation, Ageing Automation: one of your automations moved the SKU.
- Manual Move: you or a team member changed the rule on the SKU.
- Bulk Change: the SKU was moved by Bulk Changes.
- CSV Import: the SKU was moved by Upload Repricer File (a .tsv file).
- Initial Assignment: the SKU's first rule.
Use it to solve a problem
- A price is behaving differently: check whether an automation moved the SKU to a more aggressive rule.
- A SKU is stuck on a clearance rule: see automation walk-back, then look for a move back in the history.
- You don't recall a change: the Status column can tell you who made it.
If the history shows no recent move, the rule isn't the cause. Try why your price did not change.
