Set a maximum order quantity
A maximum order quantity limits how many units a buyer can purchase in a single order on Amazon. You can set it for one listing, or set a default so that new listings get it automatically.
Set it for one listing
- Find the product. On Inventory, for example.
- Click Set Max Order Quantity. It's on the row's Link Menu. The popup shows the limit on the listing now.
- Enter the new limit and save. Use a whole number of 1 or more.
STK then sends the change to your Amazon listing. It can take a little while to show on Amazon.
Set a default for new listings
- Open Settings. Go to the Maximum Order Quantity section.
- Tick the fulfilment type you want. Tick Set a maximum order quantity on new FBA listings, the same option for new FBM listings, or both.
- Enter your limit. FBA and FBM each have their own box, so they can differ.
- Click Update Maximum Order Quantity.
New listings get your limit. A listing that already has a limit is always left as it is.
Apply it to your existing listings
Your default only affects new listings at first. To cover existing listings that don't have a limit yet, tick Also apply the limit to my existing listings (not just new ones) in the same section, then click Update Maximum Order Quantity.
On a large catalogue this can take a little while.
Check the current limit
On Inventory, look for Max Order Qty in the Listing box of any row:
- A number is the limit on that listing.
- No limit means there isn't one.
- A dash means no value is available yet.

Changing a listing needs edit rights on Inventory. Ask the account holder to give you access. See how to add team users.
