Renew your Amazon permissions
If your STK data has stopped updating, your Amazon permission may have expired. Amazon asks you to renew it every year. You do this from Seller Central, and it takes a couple of minutes.
Renew STK step by step
- Sign in to Seller Central. Use the Amazon account that's connected to STK.
- Open your apps. Go to Manage Your Apps in Seller Central. If you can't see it, search for Manage Your Apps.
- Find SellerToolKit. Click Re-Authorize. It may show as Renew or Enable.
- Sign in to STK. Enter your STK email and password when you're asked, plus your 6-digit code if STK wants one.
- Finish on Amazon. Amazon shows you what you're approving. When you confirm, you come back to STK, which tells you your permission update was successful.
There's nothing else to change in STK, and your data starts updating again.
If something goes wrong
“The Amazon account you are renewing is not the one linked”
You signed in to a different STK account from the one connected to this Amazon account. Sign in with the right STK account, then start again from Seller Central.
STK asks you to set up an authenticator first
This login hasn't set up two-step sign-in yet. Sign in once at the main STK sign-in page and set it up, then open the renewal link again.
STK says your password has expired
Sign in once at the main STK sign-in page and choose a new password, then open the renewal link again. If you're a team member, your account holder sets your new password on the Users page.
Is it safe to renew?
Yes. Renewing keeps the same connection you approved when you first connected Amazon. It doesn't change anything on your Amazon account. If you ever want to stop STK's access, you can revoke it in Seller Central at any time.
