Help centre · Reimbursements
Read the Reimbursements page
The Reimbursements page lists every reimbursement Amazon has paid you, usually for FBA stock that was lost or damaged. It shows your cost beside each payment, so you can see whether Amazon covered it.
This page shows money that has already been paid. To claim money you're still owed, see overdue reimbursements.
The tiles
The tiles at the top follow your date range, search and filter.
- Reimbursements: how many payments there were.
- Units: the units reimbursed.
- Reimbursed: the total amount paid.
- Units Reversed: the units Amazon later took back.
- Reversed: the total amount Amazon took back.
- Profit: your overall profit or loss on reimbursements.
The table
- Reason / Reimb. Id: why Amazon paid, and its reference for the payment.
- Case Id: the case behind the payment, if there was one. Click it to open the case in Seller Central.
- Order: the order, if there was one. Click it to open the order in STK.
- Units and Amount Reimbursed: what Amazon paid for.
- Unit Cost: your cost for the units on that row.
- VAT: if you're VAT-registered, the VAT on your cost.
- Profit: what you made or lost on that row. A loss shows as a negative.
- Under-reimbursed: the shortfall, if Amazon paid less than your cost.
Profit depends on your costs, so add your cost of goods first.
Filter the list
- Choose your dates. Use the date picker at the top of the page.
- Search if you need to. You can look for a particular SKU or product.
- Choose a filter. All shows everything. Profit and Loss show rows that made or lost money. Underpaid shows payments that came in below your cost.
Loss includes reversals, and Underpaid doesn't, so use Underpaid to find payments that fell short.
What Reversed means
Amazon sometimes takes a reimbursement back. It might have found the unit and put it back in your stock, or the customer may have returned the item after all. The reversal shows as its own row with a negative amount.
If Amazon paid less than you expected
Amazon works out reimbursements using its own rules, and the amount can be lower than your sale price or your cost. First check your cost in STK is right. If it is and you disagree with the amount, take it up with Amazon directly. STK shows what Amazon paid, not what it should have paid.
Each row also has a Link Menu for jumping to the same SKU elsewhere in STK. See use the Link Menu.
