Multi-Country Inventory settings
If you've joined Amazon's Pan-European FBA or Multi-Country Inventory programme, tell STK the date you joined so your figures allow for it from that date. These settings are for VAT-registered sellers, so if you're not on either programme you can leave them alone.
Before you start
You need your VAT registration date in STK first. If it's missing, add it in the VAT section of Settings. See how to set up your VAT settings. Until then, STK won't save a new start date.
Set your start date
- Open Settings. Go to the section called Pan-European FBA / Multi-Country Inventory.
- Enter your start date. Use the date you joined the programme.
- Click the update button at the bottom of the section.
If STK says you have a start date but no VAT registration date, either add the registration date, or clear the start date if you aren't VAT-registered.
Set a different VAT rate for a marketplace
The same product can be taxed at a different rate from one marketplace to the next. Once you're on the programme, you can set the rate for each marketplace. You only need to change the ones that differ from the standard rate.
For one product
- Open Cost of Goods and find the product.
- Click Edit Costs on its Link Menu.
- Go to VAT Rate In Other Marketplaces. Change the rate only where Amazon applies a different rate for this product.
- Click Save.
For many products
Use the Item VAT Code column for each marketplace on the Cost of Goods sheet. See how to update your costs.
0% is a valid rate. If your product is zero-rated in a marketplace, enter 0.
