Set the profit on MCF orders
MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfilment) orders are orders Amazon ships for you when the sale happened on another sales channel. There's no Amazon sale price, so STK can't work out the profit by itself. You can tell it what profit to assume for each unit instead.
Set your MCF profit
- Open Settings. Go to the MCF Orders section.
- Tick Auto Set Profit for MCF Orders. The rows below can only be used once this is on.
- Click Add MCF Profit entry. A new row appears.
- Fill in the row. Effective From is the first date the figure applies. MCF Profit is the profit to assume per unit. Both are needed.
- Click Update MCF Order Settings.
Which figure should I enter?
Use your typical profit per unit on the sales channel where these orders come from. Your own records for that channel are the best guide. It's an assumption, so a sensible average is fine.
When your profit changes
Don't overwrite your old row. Click Add MCF Profit entry again and add a new row with the new figure and the date it starts. Each row applies from its own date, so:
- orders before your new date keep their old figure
- orders from your new date onwards use the new figure
Over time you build up a list of dated rows, and your history stays as it was.
Editing or removing a row
You can change a row, or remove it with the bin icon, then click Update MCF Order Settings. Take care: this changes the profit on orders from that row's date up to the next row's date, not only on new ones.
Switching off Auto Set Profit for MCF Orders stops STK assuming a profit on these orders. It works the same way, so your older orders can change too.
To learn how STK shows profit elsewhere, see profit, ROI and margin.
